FAQs

How can I share my survey?

See Sharing Surveys documentation for available methods.

What is the difference between anonymous and regular surveys?

Anonymous Surveys

  • AIQ does not require knowing who submitted the survey

  • Submitters are not asked for phone/email if unidentifiable

Non-Anonymous Surveys

  • AIQ requires identifying the submitter

  • If the user is unidentifiable, they will be asked for phone/email when submitting outside a campaign

What does “unidentifiable contact” mean?

If a survey was not sent through a marketing campaign, AIQ does not know who is receiving it.
That user is considered unidentifiable until they provide a phone number or email address.

What is a survey submission?

A submission occurs when a user completes the survey and clicks Submit.

What happens if I change a survey question input type?

Changing a question’s input type can cause loss of associated insights and response linkage.

Example:
Switching a Text field with 1,000 responses into a Date field cannot be converted, so the question ID changes and detaches from prior responses.

Recommended approach:
Disable the question instead of editing its type to prevent data loss.

Can surveys update customer information?

No. Surveys do not update persona records.

If customers need to update their phone, email, or profile information, they should do so through their Wallet profile page.

What happens to archived surveys?

Archived surveys are hidden by default and do not contribute to overall survey stats.

Does a customer need to be a loyalty member to submit a survey?

No. Surveys can be shared with both loyalty and non-loyalty customers.

You can also choose whether responses should be anonymous or identifiable.
