Is there a way for shoppers that leave a review via #{{reviewWidgetURL}} to automatically add points to their account?
The review widget macro links to the review page for social media sites and things like the Google review page, but we are not able to sync with those to confirm if someone left a review or followed you on Twitter.
There are, however, a couple of workarounds:
Survey: What you can do instead is create a survey through AIQ and send that to shoppers in a message. You can then set up an audience to give a points boost if someone fills it out. Since the survey would be created on AIQ, we would be able to track it and reward whoever completes it.
Use a discount: For example, you would create a 1-time-use discount for whatever reward you want (e.g. $10 off next order, 10% off, etc.) and have it show up in all shoppers' wallets. The way to redeem this discount would be for the shopper to leave a public review and then show the staff their review the next time they shop. The staff applies the discount to their transaction and since it's 1-time-use only, the shopper won't be able to claim the discount again.
