Account Access Guide

This article provides instructions for authorized users of the AIQ Dispense application (e.g., dispensary staff, administrators, or operators) on how to log in, log out, and manage account access.

Important: These instructions apply to users accessing the AIQ/Dispense software platform.


They do not apply to retail customers logging into a dispensary’s online shopping website.


How to Log In

  1. Navigate to dispenseapp.com/login

  2. Enter your email address

  3. Enter your password

  4. Click Log In

Customer Type Credentials

  • Legacy Ecommerce Customers: If you are a Legacy Ecommerce customer (meaning you signed up for AIQ ecommerce prior to it being AIQ), you can use your existing credentials to log in to the app.

  • AIQ Ecommerce Customers: If you are an AIQ Ecommerce customer (meaning you signed up for ecommerce via AIQ), you will use your AIQ credentials to log in to ecommerce.

These credentials are assigned to staff users within an organization, not to retail shoppers.


How to Log Out

  1. Navigate to My Profile in the header

  2. Click Logout

You will be signed out immediately.


How to Reset Your Password

  1. Enter your email address

  2. Click Submit

  3. Check your email inbox

  4. Follow the password reset instructions provided in the email

⚠️ Note: If you do not receive the reset email, check your spam or junk folder before submitting another request.


Troubleshooting

Error: “Your organization doesn’t have any venues yet”

This error typically indicates an issue with user configuration within the AIQ platform, not a login problem.

Common causes include:

  • Missing user role assignment

  • Incomplete venue setup

  • Incorrect organization permissions

How to Resolve

  1. In AIQ, navigate to: Organization → Staff

  2. Select the affected user

  3. Open the Roles tab

  4. Assign an appropriate role from the dropdown

  5. Save changes

Users without an assigned role may not be properly linked to available venues in the system.

If the issue persists, it may be related to backend venue configuration. In that case, escalate to support.
