Troubleshooting: Unable to Add Staff Member in AIQ
If you encounter the error āUnable to add staff memberā, itās typically caused by one of the following issues:
1. User Already Exists in Your Organization
The user may already have access to your account, even if they donāt appear in your Staff Members list.
Why this happens:
They are managed at an agency or parent account level
They already have access through your organizational hierarchy
How to resolve:
Review your organization or parent account structure
Check with an admin at the parent-account level
Confirm whether the user already has access (no action may be needed)
2. Email Address Already Has Access to Multiple Accounts
With Universal Login, a single email address can now be connected to as many AIQ accounts as needed. You no longer need to create alias emails for staff members who manage multiple accounts.
How to resolve:
Simply add the staff member's primary email address to their Staff Member Profile and save. They will be able to switch between their connected AIQ accounts by clicking on the Account Icon in the top left of the Dashboard and selecting their desired account from the drop down.
