Report Period Breakdown

This section displays order performance over time through a bar chart and key metrics summary. This view helps you track revenue trends, order volume, and customer behavior patterns across your selected date range.

Time Period Toggle: You can adjust the chart granularity using the toggle buttons in the top right:

  • Daily: Shows individual day-by-day performance

  • Weekly: Aggregates data by week

  • Monthly: Groups data by month

  • Yearly: Displays annual totals

You can also switch the chart's metric view between Revenue $ and Order #. Note that these toggles only affect the chart visualization, the summary metrics below remain unchanged.

Below the chart, you'll find key performance indicators for the selected period:

  • Total Revenue: The sum of all revenue generated during the report period.

  • Total Orders: The total number of orders placed during the report period.

  • AOV: Average Order Value, calculated as total revenue divided by total orders.

  • Avg Cart Items: Shows the average number of products purchased in a single transaction. Other common names for this metric include average basket size and average cart size.

  • Avg Days Til Customer Returns: The average number of days between a customer's purchases.

  • Note: This metric is calculated using a customer’s full order history (all-time), not just the selected date range (e.g., MTD). It only includes customers with 2 or more orders, and measures the average time between their orders.

  • Day: Sunday–Saturday

  • Hour: Hour of day

Data defaults to chronological sorting.

Top Performing – Products

The Products table includes additional inventory-related columns:
