Prerequisites
Before getting started, ensure you have:
Required Permissions:
Campaigns can be accessed by users with one of the following roles:
Marketing
Marketing Analyst
Operator
Owner
Plan Requirement:
Native Push Notifications are only available if you either:
Purchase a separate Native App plan, or
Are on Marketing Enterprise, which includes a Pro-level mobile app.
If your account does not include an active mobile app plan, the Native Push channel will not be available in Campaign Builder.
How to Create a Native Push Campaign
Step 1: Create a New Campaign
Navigate to Marketing > Campaigns
Click Add (+)
Step 2: Select Native Push Channel
On the Channels screen, select Native Push
Continue through Campaign Builder

Step 3: Configure Push Notification Content
In the Content step, fill out the following fields:
Feature Image (Optional)
This image appears on the right side of the push notification.
Image requirements:
Minimum width: 300px
Maximum width: 800px
Common sizes:
512 × 256
800 × 400
Title
Displayed above the message text.
Best practices:
Recommended length: 50 characters
Emojis are allowed
Message
This is the main push notification text.
Recommended maximum: 150 characters
(Exact limit depends on device preview)
Emoji
Select emojis to include in the notification.
🟢 Unlike SMS, push notifications are not subject to regulated language restrictions, making them a flexible channel for highly regulated industries.
Personalization (Macros)
You can copy and paste macros to personalize push notifications with customer-specific data.
Example uses:
First name
Loyalty balance
Store preferences
⚠️ Important:
If macro data is missing for a contact, the message will not send to that person.
Avoid using too many macros in one campaign.
Discount Macros
Paste a discount macro into your message.
Automatically converted into a shortened URL
Opens directly on the user’s phone when tapped
Survey Macros
Paste a survey macro into your message.
Automatically converted into a shortened URL
Opens directly on the user’s phone when tapped
Step 4: Review & Launch
Continue to the Review step
Save as Draft or send (approval permissions may apply)
Click Launch
