SMS/MMS Pin Codes

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Overview

Do you want to decrease the amount of carrier filtration? AIQ has Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) to add another layer of protection to your SMS/MMS messages. Pin codes are a one-time security check a customer will go through when they first open one of your SMS/MMS messages.

Customer Journey with 2FA

1st Visit:

  1. Receive text with link. Click link.

  2. Opens page to send a verification PIN

  3. Enters PIN

  4. Navigates to your landing page

Subsequent Visits:

  1. Receive text with link. Click link.

  2. Navigates directly to your landing page

Customers will need to re-enter a verification pin if they end up using a different browser or device.

Why switch to 2FA (2 Factor Authentication)

  • Increased deliverability.

  • Less filtration.

  • Higher level of security.

  • Increased ROI, open rates, and conversions for messages sent.

How to Disable 2FA

By default, 2FA is enabled for all accounts. To disable this please reach our to your Customer Success Manager or reach out to our Support team via live chat through the chat widget at the bottom of your AIQ dashboard.
