How PIN Codes Work for Texting

  1. Notification: The customer receives a text message notifying them of a new message.

  2. Link and PIN Entry: The message includes a link that directs the customer to a PIN code page.

  3. Verification:

    1. Last 4 of their number customer enters the last four digits of their phone number to unlock the message.

    2. 2FA over 10DLC the customer enters the PIN sent via registered 10DLC to unlock the message

  4. Access: After entering the correct PIN, the customer is redirected to the landing page with your message.

โš ๏ธ Warning: Contact your Customer Success manager or support to turn on PIN codes for texting.

Testing PIN Codes

You can test PIN code functionality using the Campaign Builder's SMS builder. When testing, use the test PIN code 1234 to simulate a successful PIN verification without requiring a real customer PIN.
