How to Set Up POS Custom Mappings
In Menu > Categories, you can customize how categories from your POS map to the AIQ Ecommerce ones. For example, if you want to map "Rick Simpson Oil" from your POS to "Concentrates" in AIQ Ecommerce.
How to Set Up Custom Mappings
Navigate to Menu > Categories > Select the category (only "System Categories" will show the setting for POS Mapping)
Add the category names from your POS into the POS Mapping field.
Click Save
Navigate to Menu > Product and re-sync the menu. Check that your mappings are correct.
If a Particular Product Is Mapping Incorrectly
Navigate to Menu > Products, and click on the product that you want to re-map.
Click the 'Advanced' tab
In the category column, you will see what the POS category name is. Copy it.
Navigate to Menu > Categories > Select the category, paste the POS category into the desired AIQ Ecommerce category.
Navigate to Menu > Product and re-sync the menu. Check that your mappings are correct.

Troubleshooting: Product Mapping & Visibility
Products Not Appearing in the AIQ ECommerce Menu
If products are missing from the AIQ ECommerce menu but still show up in search results or offers, the issue is usually related to missing or incorrect category mapping.
Common Cause:
The product does not have a properly assigned category or subcategory, or category mapping is disabled.
How to Fix
1. Verify and Add POS Mapping
Navigate to:
Menu → Categories → [Your Category] → POS MappingLocate the product’s subcategory:
Open the product
Go to the Advanced tab
Copy the exact subcategory name (e.g., “Pre-Rolled Cannabis Joints”)
Paste that exact name into the POS Mapping field
Click Create
Click Save
