Switching POS Integrations

In AIQ Ecommerce, if you are switching from one POS to another, you will need to complete specific steps to disable the old integration, remove tied products, and connect your new POS.

Prerequisites

Before getting started, ensure you have:

  • Required credentials for your new POS integration


1. Disable Your Existing POS

  1. Navigate to AIQ Ecommerce > Store Settings > Integrations

  2. Click on your existing POS

  3. Toggle the "Enable" toggle to OFF


2. Delete Existing Products

Your existing products are tied to your old POS integration, so these items will need to be deleted.

  1. Navigate to Menu > Products

  2. Select the More (...) menu

  3. Click Bulk Delete
    ​

  4. Click Confirm in the modal

  5. Refresh the page

  6. If products are still loaded, go through the Bulk Delete process again until all products are wiped


3. Add Your New POS

  1. Navigate back to Settings > Integrations

  2. Click on your new integration and add in your required credentials

  3. Click Save


4. Sync Products from Your New POS

  1. Navigate to Menu > Products

  2. Manually sync your products the first time from your new POS via the Sync? link
    ​

Products will begin to flow in from your new point of sale.

After Setup:

  • Products will automatically populate from your new POS after the initial manual sync.

  • Review categories and product placement once syncing is complete.
