How to create a Happy Hour audience

    1. Note: You can segment the audience further if you wanted to only give customers who spend X amount on those days a points boost or multiplier by using the and where and adding additional trait filters

  2. Toggle "Modify points for contacts in this audience" and add your Multiplier

  3. Determine your happy hours: Select the day of the week and times (5-6pm every Tuesday and Thursday)

How do I target my most valuable customers / how do I know who my top spenders are?

If you don't know where to start, use our Data Analytics tools to find metrics like Avg checkout value and build out your ideal High Value Customer from there.

Here's some audience ideas:

  • Is a top 20% spender --> is true

  • Avg ticket size --> more than --> {{dollar amount}}

  • Total spent while loyal --> more than --> {{dollar amount}}

Note: For the {{dollar amount}}, try thresholds such as $5,000, $10,000, or $15,000 to see where your top spenders fall (click Spot Check to get instant feedback).

How to create a double-points day audience

  1. Contact trait / is loyalty member --> is true

  2. Toggle "Modify points" and add your multiplier of 2

    1. Optional: restrict the multiplier to a specific Brand, SKU, or Category

    2. Add the time and day of the week you want the multiplier to be enabled

  3. Click Save

How to create an audience of users who have installed the AIQ mobile app

AIQ cannot see app downloads by user, you may be able to access that information in your Apple/Google accounts. However, you are able to see native push opt-ins with audiences using this criteria:

  1. Performed event / Native Push Opt-In status --> is true

How to create an audience of customers who are signed up for emails, but haven’t made a purchase?

This audience will include all customers who have opted into email communications but have not completed any purchases, allowing you to target them for first-time buyer campaigns or special outreach efforts.

  1. Email Opt-In Status --> is true [and where]

  2. Number of sales → exactly → 0

Which customers should I avoid messaging?

You can find customers that yield the lowest ROI and exclude them from future campaigns.

Low spend & frequency: Create an audience of customers that have less than average ticket sizes and monthly visits. Example:

  • Computed trait / Avg. ticket size --> Less than --> {{dollar value}}

  • Computed trait / mean purchase/month --> Less than --> {{visit amount}}

Customers that don't read messages: Don't spend your dollars messaging customers that historically don't open them:

  • Performed Event / Number of opened messages --> Less than --> {{amount}} --> in Range --> Last 2 months.

How to create an audience of customers who were won back this month (or specific time frame)?

  • Won back --> {{date range}}

    • Note: Ensure you use “Won back” (not “winback”)

    • {{date range}} could be last 30 days, or within a specific date range (like this month / last month)

How can I create an audience to identify customers who have received a referral boost?

  • Navigate to Audiences and locate the audience tied to your referral program.

    • Use the Spot Check to see how many people fall into this audience

  • To verify referral signups:

    • Customers > Personas > General > scroll down to Traits > Signup URLs > View, you can see if they joined via a referral link.

    • You can also review Points History under the History tab to confirm awarded referral points.

Using an audience to identify Loyalty Program Members

For Loyalty Pro package users, AIQ allows you to tag loyalty members for easy tracking:

  1. Contact trait / is loyalty member --> is true

  2. Assign a badge which will automatically appear on each customer’s persona profile.
