AIQ MCP has read-only capabilities, meaning once it's connected to your account it can pull information and reports across your account information, retail analytics, marketing, and loyalty information. Some examples below:

- Brand assets (logo and colors)
- Timezone
- Store locations

- Run read-only analytics queries against business data
- Find existing reports for a date range and audience
- Pull report details across summaries, charts, redemptions, points adjustments, Terpli questions and recommendations, Mobile app data, etc.

- Campaigns information, campaign performance for a date range
- Verified sender addresses
- Audiences, discounts, signup forms, and surveys information
- Automated flows statuses, shared flow template library

- Account information:
  - Brand assets (logo and colors)
  - Timezone
  - Store locations
- Retail Analytics:
  - Run read-only analytics queries against business data

Note: At this time, you cannot create or edit campaigns, audiences, discounts, flows, signup forms, or surveys.

Click Create key, give it a name and optionally an expiration date

Once the key is created, click Add to Agent in the table

Select your desired agent in the popup modal

1. Add to Claude or Add to Cursor installs that key in your selected AI assistant tool
2. Copy mcp.json is for an AI tool that accepts a remote URL config, such as Cursor
3. Copy npx mcp.json is for an AI tool that starts a local process, such as Claude

1. Go to Astro AI → MCP
2. Click Create key, give it a name and optionally an expiration date

Most AIQ MCP tools come at no cost. The one exception is run-analytics, which uses AI to build the queries behind custom analytics questions. That tool has a usage charge.

Finding and opening your existing reports is always free, using find-retail-report and get-retail-report-data. These work with AIQ's standard retail analytics reports, such as <a href="https://lab.alpineiq.com/retailAnalytics/1048" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Retail Analytics</a>.
