Data Analytics: Mobile App

The Mobile App tab displays engagement metrics for your app, including discount and loyalty events, referral and review events, as well as general app engagement like signups, opens, and DAU.

Prerequisites

Before getting started, ensure you have:

Required Permissions:

Data Analytics can be accessed by staff members with the following permissions:

  • Analyst

  • Marketing

  • Marketing + Analyst

  • Operator

  • Owner

Other Requirements

  • Retail Analytics Starter (or higher) subscription AND any Mobile App subscription

  • Brand Analytics Starter (or higher) subscription AND any Mobile App subscription


How to Access Mobile App Analytics

  1. Navigate to Analytics > Mobile App in your AIQ Dashboard

  2. Select your desired Report date range

  3. Review the engagement metrics displayed across the sections

Note: The Audience filter does not apply to this tab.

Note: App analytics is only available from June 2026 onward.


Report Period Breakdown

This section displays general app engagement over time. We track the following:

  • App Signups: The number of new signups

  • App Opens: The number of times users opened the app

  • Daily Active Users (DAU): The number of users who have viewed the app

  • Engaged Users: The number of users who perform Top Actions

For Daily Active Users and Engaged Users, hovering over the individual stats will show a tooltip with a description of each for a helpful in-app reminder.


Discount & Loyalty Events

This section displays discount and loyalty engagement over time. We track the following:

  • Discount Redeemed: A discount was redeemed

  • Discount Opened: A discount’s details was opened/viewed

  • All Discounts Viewed: All available discounts/rewards were viewed

  • Badges Viewed: All badges were viewed

  • Collectible Code Redeemed: A collectible code was redeemed


Top Actions

This section displays top actions your users should participate in. These options are static.

  • Discount Redemptions

  • Collectible Code Redemptions

  • Referrals

  • Reviews

  • Ordering

    • Note: at this time we can only track orders through AIQ Ecom


Push Notifications

This section displays engagement with your push notifications.

  • Open rate

  • Opt-ins

  • Opt-outs


Referral & Review Link Events

This section displays engagement with your Refer a Friend (RAF) and review links.

Note: you can add links to review your business in Settings > Company Account > Reviews.


Product Events

This section displays additional engagement across your app. We track the following:

  • Orders Viewed

  • Orders Placed

  • Product Reviewed

  • Shop Viewed

  • Updates Viewed

  • FAQs Viewed
