Manually Managing Phone Numbers

Non-regulated industries can enable manual phone number management for reasons including having a local presence. Manually managing numbers can also allow customers to whitelist your number(s) and potentially avoid spam-triggered message filtering altogether.

โš ๏ธ Warning: To completely disable automatic phone number management, enable Manual Numbers Only. When enabled, AIQ will not auto-buy numbers for the account. All numbers are managed manually via the Phone numbers view for searching, buying, and releasing phones.


Phone Numbers View

The Phone numbers view under Texting Settings is where you can buy and manage your current numbers. The following fields are available:

  • Select: Mark the number for buying or other management options.

  • Number: The full phone number available for use.

  • Features: Supported campaign and messaging channels (MMS / SMS / Voice).

  • Type: The phone number category type (Local / Toll Free).

  • Upfront price: Initial cost to purchase the number (excludes monthly charge).

  • Monthly price: Ongoing cost for owning the number.

  • Delivery %: Successfully delivered messages out of all messages sent using the phone number.

  • Actions: Buy number / Release (Delete) number.
