Notifications

This guide shows how to enable notifications for new orders, cancellations, and customer chats in AIQ Ecommerce, including browser-level settings

How to Enable Notifications in AIQ Ecommerce

  1. Navigate to your Profile in the header.

  2. Click My Account > Notifications.

  3. Select all notifications you would like to receive.

  4. Click Save.

Note: Notifications must be enabled separately for each individual login.


Available Notification Types

New Order Notifications

  • Email

  • Browser

  • Sound

Cancelled Order Notifications

  • Email

Customer Chat Notifications

  • Email

  • Browser

  • Sound


Enable Browser Notifications (Required for Browser & Sound Alerts)

Browser notifications must be enabled at both the system level and within your browser.

1. Enable Operating System Notifications

  1. System Preferences > Notifications & Focus > Google Chrome > Alerts


2. Enable Browser Permissions

When prompted by your browser, click Allow to enable notifications for the Ecommerce site.

If you do not see a prompt:

  • Open your browser settings

  • Navigate to Privacy & Security > Site Settings > Notifications

  • Ensure the Ecommerce URL is set to Allow

Safari - Allow notifications when you receive the popup.

If you don't get a popup when you have a new order/chat, ensure you allow for websites to ask for permissions to send notifications.

Google Chrome - Add app.dispenseapp.com to your list of approved sites for notifications.

Firefox - Enable notifications when you receive the popup.

โš ๏ธ Warning: If browser permissions are blocked, you will not receive browser or sound alerts even if they are enabled in your account settings.
