Is the Ecommerce menu on my own domain, or a subdomain, or what?
If you choose the SEO Menu option (recommended and most common), it is on your own domain. If you choose the Basic Menu, we host that URL and it is not on your own domain (no SEO benefit).
Are there preferred CMS providers that we recommend that works with our Ecommerce menus?
Our ecommerce menus work with every CMS (Wordpress, Wix, Webflow, etc.). You should decide based on your own expertise - or hire an agency.
Can the Ecommerce menu be my website? I don't want to build out a full website when online shopping is the focus.
Yes, you can use the menu as your website. You will still need to purchase a domain and setup a reverse proxy to our menus from your domain. This still gives you SEO.
Can I facilitate the "ice cream truck" model with your Ecommerce? (I have a roving delivery truck)
Yes, assuming we're talking about the same 'ice cream truck' model, you should be able to. Here's how:
Set up 1 menu for each delivery truck
Set up your distinct delivery zones on each menu
In your POS, set up your inventory for a specific 'room' and hook that up to the relevant menu in Ecom (POS-dependant)
You can use the Store Locator Widget to route the customer to the correct menu - OR - if the customer is already on a menu and enters their address, they will be redirected to the correct menu (truck in this case) that delivers to their address.
What browsers do you support?
AIQ Ecommerce front end is hosted on Vercel. We currently support the following browsers and versions:

Can I customize my footer?
No. However, we don't recommend navigating your customers away from your menu anyway - keep them going down the purchase funnel.
When we pull products from the POS, what is our source of truth? Product ID or SKU?
productId (or variantId for Flowhub)
Can I upload videos for my product images, banners, etc.?
Not at this time. The constraint is we send all the images through an image optimizer to ensure your menu still loads quickly (helps with SEO and reducing bounce rates). Videos are harder to optimize and control.
Can I combine my med and rec menus into 1 single menu?
No. Currently, you need to have separate menus but can link them via Store Info settings.
Is it possible to have multiple payment integrations shown at checkout?
Yes.
Why is search not returning items when I'm searching on words that the product name contains?
We do not currently support out-of-order search terms.
How can I prevent overselling?
We encourage stores to use our Product Quantity Threshold feature to prevent overselling.
Do we do menu displays (can you stream the menu onto a television/tv in-store)?
No. Our menus are not optimized to be shown on a display.
If you don't mind the look of it as-is, you could take the menu URL and paste it into a smart tv with a browser - or mirror computer/phone, but it'll just look the same as the online menu.
