How to Locate and Generate API Keys in AIQ

API keys are essential for integrating third-party applications with the AIQ platform. Follow these steps to locate and generate API keys on the AIQ dashboard:

  1. Log in to your AIQ account.

  2. Navigate to Settings.

  3. Select the API and Tracking section.

  4. Here, you will find your API keys displayed, along with a copy button to easily copy the entire key for use in integrations.

JS Tracking Pixel

⚠️ Warning: If using the Tracking Pixel to send AIQ contact information from a site, you will need to navigate to Data Integrations and connect with Website JS before customer information will start syncing.

Place this Javascript pixel within your website, e-commerce, GTM, or landing page code to track page views, link clicks, and other web engagements. Create Audiences based on customers that have clicked on specific products and send them targeted messages about that product.


Troubleshooting Access Issues

If you've recently been assigned the Owner role but still cannot access API settings, permission updates may require a short transition period. To resolve this, follow these steps:

  1. Log Out and Log In: Logging out of your AIQ account and then logging back in often syncs the updated permissions.

  2. Clear Browser Cache: Clearing your cache ensures the browser isn't displaying outdated information.

  3. Use Incognito Mode: If the issue persists, log in using an incognito browser session to see if permissions have updated.
