How to Use Purchase Limits
Purchase limits (aka allotments) in regulated industries are used to determine and enforce the maximum amount of each product category or combination of categories a shopper can purchase.
đ Purchase limits are configured and enforced in AIQ environments â not by your POS. Your POS supplies product, inventory, and pricing data only. It does not set or control purchase limit logic outside it's own environment. All per-category allotments are defined within AIQ Ecommerce and enforced at checkout. Your POS will still then enforce purchase limits once data is received for orders completed in AIQ Ecommerce as pre-configured by State.
Purchase limits are enforced by default, however, you can bypass purchase limits if you choose in Store > Settings > Orders. A use case to bypass limits might be because medical patients in your state can apply for higher limits.
Flower Equivalence
If Flower Equivalence isn't passed to us from the POS, products must have a weight entered in order for them to be counted towards the purchase limits.
â Tip: To have AIQ Ecom handle the "Flower Equivalent in Grams", you need to ensure that this selection is unchecked in Settings > POS
