How to Connect AIQ to POSaBIT

Get POSaBIT Credentials

Obtain your API Key and Menu Feed from POSaBIT.

See this document from POSaBIT on how to generate your credentials.

Enable the integration in AIQ Ecommerce

  1. Navigate to Store > Integrations

  2. Click on POSaBIT

  3. Enable the integration toggle

  4. Input the required information

  5. Click Save

Once you have successfully enabled your POSaBIT integration, your first sync will occur within 10 minutes.

Syncing Orders

Turn on the Sync Orders toggle if you'd like AIQ Ecommerce to automatically push new orders into POSaBIT when they are confirmed. AIQ Ecommerce strongly encourages this.

Syncing Offers

Sync Total

When total sync is enabled, the final total—including discounts and taxes—will be sourced from your POSabit POS environment. This feature removes AIQ offers and discounts at cart and checkout, so ensure all offers are created in both POSaBit and AIQ Ecom.

Syncing Products/Inventory

Turning on this integration will trigger AIQ Ecommerce to automatically sync with POSaBIT every 10 minutes.

You can also manually trigger a sync by going to Menu > Products and clicking Sync?

Inventory Mapping

In order for AIQ Ecommerce to pull your products over to the correct category, you must first set up custom POS mapping. To set this up, go to your POS Settings.

AIQ Ecommerce uses the producttype from your product to map over. You will input your location's product\type into the category mapping.

Grouped Products

Products pulled from POSaBIT will appear grouped in AIQ Ecommerce if they are grouped in POSaBIT.

What gets synced?

AIQ Ecommerce's integration with POSaBIT will sync the following fields from them. If you would like to disable syncing on any one of these items, head over to POS Settings to toggle off.

  • Name

  • Category

  • Sub Category (product\_type in POSaBIT)

  • Brand

  • Price

  • Quantity

  • Images (up to 5)

  • Description

  • Strain Type

  • Strain

  • Labs

FAQs

  • How often will my inventory sync?

    • AIQ ecommerce will sync your inventory every 10 minutes. In between syncs, we will also keep an accurate hold on any inventory ordered to prevent over selling

  • How after will my order status sync?

    • AIQ ecommerce will sync your order statuses from your point of sale every 2 minutes. This allows us to have near real time order status syncing with your point of sale.
