About AIQ x Mailchimp Integration
Sync your Mailchimp contacts to AIQ and take advantage of our data analytics and marketing features. Read on below to see how to connect your account and begin pushing contacts back and forth.
For both connection options, you will need to grab your API Key from your Mailchimp account, if you need help locating where to find it check out the article here.
How to Connect MailChimp as a Source
Use this to pull in your email contacts:
Navigate to Settings > Integrations
Search for Mailchimp (make sure it is the Data Source) then click Connect.
Copy your API Key from Mailchimp and paste it in the Key field.
Turn on the toggle labeled "All users are age compliant with my industry?". This is you confirming that all users coming from MailChimp have passed an age gate compliant with your industry.

Other Optional Settings
Meta Data: If you only want to source certain lists from your Mailchimp Account supply the specific List IDs and associate the Audience ID from AIQ.

How to Connect MailChimp as a Destination
Use this to push AIQ audiences back to MailChimp:
Navigate to Settings > Integrations
Search for Mailchimp (make sure it is the Data Destination) then click Connect.
Copy your API Key from Mailchimp and paste it in the Key field.
Fill in the PermissionReminder field with a statement like "Subscribed to receive emails from *YOUR COMPANY NAME HERE*" - Check out MailChimp's documentation for suggestions

Send only certain Audiences to Mailchimp
If you only want to send particular audiences to Mailchimp, you will need to map the audiences to their respective lists:
Create your Audience you want to filter by.
At the bottom of the Audience Builder, click the checkbox next to the Mailchimp logo:
After you click the green Save Audience button, make sure to note the Audience ID in the URL or in the column seen in the Audiences view.
Head back to Settings > Integrations and open the Mailchimp Data Destination integration card.
Under the Meta Data section, paste in your Audience ID from step 3 and locate the respective Mailchimp List ID to link to and click Add Mapping.
⚠️ Warning: Repeat these steps for any additional lists that you want to send to your account. Just make sure your Mailchimp plan supports list sizes or you may need to increase the limit
