With our COVA integration, you can automatically sync all of your COVA inventory directly into AIQ Ecommerce.

How to Connect AIQ to COVA

Get COVA credentials

Send an email to the COVA Integration team at [email protected] to obtain your credentials. Include the following information:

  • Your Company Name

  • That you intend to use these credentials for an integration with Dispense.

You will need to get the Company ID, Location ID, Username, Password, Client ID and Client Secret

Enable the integration in AIQ Ecommerce

  1. Navigate to Store > Integrations

  2. Click on COVA

  3. Enable the integration toggle

  4. Enter in the required fields.

  5. Click Save

Once you have successfully enabled your COVA integration, your first sync will occur within 10 minutes.

Syncing Orders

Turn on the Sync Orders toggle if you'd like AIQ Ecommerce to automatically push new orders into COVA when they are confirmed.

Syncing Products/Inventory

Turning on this integration will trigger AIQ Ecommerce to automatically sync with COVA every 10 minutes.

You can also manually trigger a sync by going to Menu > Products and clicking Sync?

When products are synced from COVA, AIQ Ecommerce will pull over all of the fields that your location has setup to sync and AIQ Ecommerce will map each product to a certain category. To customize which fields sync and how products are mapped, see POS Settings.

AIQ Ecommerce pulls a product's product-level sale price from COVA.

  • Note: This applies only to product-level discounts in COVA and will not pull in advanced offers.

Certificate of Analysis (COA)

AIQ Ecom supports syncing a COA URL from COVA and embedding this link in your product descriptions. You will need to add the link to a Product Specification field with a Display Name of either COA Link or COA

Labs

Since COVA allows for full customization of, AIQ Ecomm requires these to be setup in the following way. When creating the specification, set it up as a number. This will allow you to provide a name and a unit of measurement. The name must match any of the following currently supported labs

FAQs

  • How do you lookup customers in COVA?

    • AIQ uses phone number to lookup customers in COVA. If no customers are found by phone, we will create a new contact. Phone number must be required at checkout for us to make this connection.

  • How do you handle delivery orders with COVA?

    • When we attach a customer to a delivery order, we will look at the customer to see if they have the correct delivery address attached to them. If they do not, AIQ will either add one if none exists, or overwrite the address if an old one exists.

  • How often will my inventory sync?

    • AIQ ecommerce will sync your inventory every 10 minutes. In between syncs, we will also keep an accurate hold on any inventory ordered to prevent over selling

  • How after will my order status sync?

    • AIQ ecommerce will sync your order statuses from your point of sale every 2 minutes. This allows us to have near real time order status syncing with your point of sale.
