Before getting started, ensure you have:

Receipt Lookup is available to users with the following permissions:
Analyst
Marketing
Marketing Analyst
Operator
Owner
How to Use Receipt Lookup
1. Retrieve the Receipt ID
There are two ways to find the receipt ID:
Option 1: Copy from the POS
Copy the receipt ID directly from your POS system
⚠️ If you are a Greenline POS user, copy the receipt ID from the Persona drawer instead. See Option #2 for instructions.
Option 2: Copy from Persona History
If the receipt ID from the POS does not return results:
Navigate to Customers > Personas
Open the relevant Persona
Go to the History tab
Select the Points subtab
Copy the receipt ID listed there
2. Search for the Receipt in AIQ
Navigate to Customers > Receipt Lookup
Paste the receipt ID into the search field
Click Search
Click into the table row to open the JSON transaction details for that sale
Use Cases
Bad Merge
A bad merge occurs when Persona1 is incorrectly merged into Persona2, causing sales to attach to the wrong account.
To troubleshoot:
Look up a receipt ID that belongs to Persona1
Check the customer details shown (name, phone, email)
If the receipt is appearing under Persona2’s information, a merge has occurred
Next steps:
Navigate to the Profile Merges tab
Identify which POS profile belongs to Persona1
Update the account information accordingly
Missing Transaction Data
If a Persona appears to be missing purchase history:
Look up the receipt ID for the missing transaction
Confirm whether the sale is listed under a different Persona
This helps identify misattributed transactions.
Duplicate Account
If purchase history is missing because the transaction is tied to a duplicate Persona:
Use Receipt Lookup to locate which Persona the receipt is attached to
Follow Manual Persona Merging to merge the duplicate profiles correctly
Validating an Override
Overrides occur when Persona information is edited through:
The AIQ Dashboard
The customer’s AIQ Wallet
To validate an override:
Look up the receipt ID
Review the customer information tied to that sale
If the receipt details do not match the Persona, an override may have occurred

Information Available Through Receipt Lookup
Receipt Lookup provides access to:
Receipt ID
Contact ID
Phone number (if available)
Email address (if available)
First name and last name
Points earned or redeemed
Loyalty member status
Loyalty signup date
Opt-in time
Full transaction JSON code
FAQ
Can I look up multiple receipt IDs at once?
Yes. When entering multiple receipt IDs, separate each with a comma.
What if I don’t know which profile is the correct Persona, but I want them unmerged?
