Manually Adjust Points

Learn how to manually add or subtract loyalty points on the persona card.

Manual loyalty point adjustments help make things right when points don’t look correct due to persona merges, purchase changes, promotions, or general customer service needs.


Prerequisites

  • Required permissions

    • Owner

    • Operator

    • Manager

    • or Staff (if enabled)


How to Manually Adjust Points

  1. Navigate to Customers>Personas

  2. Search for the specific persona and click into their details

  3. Navigate to the Points tab

  4. In the section "Adjust points", input a number (or use the +/- buttons) and an adjustment note which will be shown in the points timeline.

  5. Click "Submit Change"

Before you adjust a customer’s points, do the math: Do the points and spending add up?

Many times when there are abrupt changes to a customer’s points balance, it is due to merged profiles recalculating points earned and redeemed. Even though the points may have changed unexpectedly, the math should check out.

Is there a report for viewing manual point adjustments?


You can view manually added points through the Analytics section of your account by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to Analytics > My Analytics > Members Club.

  2. Scroll to the section labeled "Points Adjustments Made Manually."

  3. Download the available CSV file to see a detailed breakdown of all manual point additions.
